In 2002, Historic Cottages of Mackinac Island won the Michigan Notable Book Award. This title is still in print and continues to be of interest.
In 2009, Asylum for the Insane: History of Kalamazoo State Hospital by William Decker, M.D. won the Notable Book award from the Michigan Library.
In 2011, Vintage Views Along the West Michigan Pike: from Sand Trails to US-31 by Christine Byron and Thomas Wilson won the Michigan Notable Book Award.
